Prof. Dipti Srinivasan

Prof. Dipti Srinivasan is Provost's Chair Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore, and Founder and Director of the Centre for Green Energy Management & Smart Grid (GEMS). Her work spans research, education, industry engagement, and policy leadership, with a sustained focus on advancing intelligent, resilient, and sustainable energy systems.

Her research bridges advanced AI techniques with real-world power system applications, including renewable energy forecasting, demand-side management, microgrids, and electric mobility. Known for her work on uncertainty-aware and data-driven decision-making, Prof. Dipti Srinivasan has contributed solutions that have influenced both academic research directions and practical energy deployments, supporting grid modernization and national energy resilience.

Beyond research, Prof. Dipti Srinivasan plays an active leadership role in shaping the energy and AI communities globally and nationally. She serves as a Board Member of the Energy Market Authority, Singapore, and on the IEEE Power & Energy Society Governing Board. A Fellow of IEEE and recipient of multiple international and institutional awards, she is also a dedicated educator and mentor, widely recognised for excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and talent development.
